Building Bridges Across Borders: Cross-Border Innovation and the Global Entrepreneur

BIO

Zhou Wei is the founder of XNode, a leading cross-border innovation accelerator in the Asia-Pacific, and a long-time Senior Member of EO Shanghai since 2011. Over 25 years, he has built XNode into a premier open innovation platform serving nearly 100 Fortune 500 companies — including BMW, Unilever, and Intel — while accelerating more than 400 tech ventures internationally.

A practitioner of the "bring in, go out" model, Zhou Wei has dedicated his career to building two-way innovation bridges between China and the world. XNode is the exclusive GIA partner of Enterprise Singapore in Shanghai and Shenzhen, and since 2019, its "Go Southeast Asia" program has helped over 50 Chinese companies establish operations across the region. In 2021, he founded ATUM Ventures in Singapore, a deep tech venture builder commercializing frontier technologies with A*STAR, NUS, and NTU.

Before XNode, he held senior roles at Roland Berger, Vision Investment, and Jade Invest, and founded Belgravia Serviced Residence, which was acquired by a Japanese listed company in 2014. As a fellow EO member who has walked the entrepreneurial journey himself, Zhou Wei brings rare authenticity to the Summit — sharing what it really takes to grow a business across cultures, markets, and borders.
