Ren Min (Cathy) is the founder of Yi You Youth Center, a project-based learning platform for entrepreneurially-minded young people, and of Chu Shan Ventures, an incubator focused on founders under 30. Over her 20-year entrepreneurial journey, she has partnered with more than 50 corporations and foundations - including Volkswagen Group, Tencent SSV, Alibaba Charity Foundation, and Dyson - designing and running over 30 programs spanning environmental innovation, social entrepreneurship, and youth leadership.
38 alumni of Yi You Youth Center have been named to the Forbes China 30 Under 30 list. Cathy is China’s first EOA Certified Trainer for the Scaling Up (Rockefeller Habits) growth framework, and a board member of EO China for 2023 and 2024. In 2024, she received the EO China Entrepreneur of the Year Impact Award. In 2025, she served as an Asia-Pacific mentor representative on the GSEA Start-it Up reality program, where her mentee — Australian founder Kai Seymon — placed second globally.
Cathy holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business management from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and has completed programs at the University of Hong Kong and CEIBS. She has been a mentor for the UNDP Youth Makerspace program for three consecutive years (2019–2021) and serves as a judge for the UC Berkeley Global Social Venture Competition. On Day 2 of the Summit, she will lead the CN-track Learning Day session, sharing how founders can replace guesswork with a repeatable growth system - practical tools she applies directly with the entrepreneurs she coaches.
